Michael is responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and execution of CrownPoint’s acquisition opportunities as well as overseeing the entitlement process for new projects. Having recently joined CrownPoint, Michael has over fifteen years of commercial real estate experience focused on acquisitions in the New York City metropolitan area.

Most recently he was the Senior Acquisitions Manager for a private equity, real estate fund manager with over $1 billion of equity under management where he sourced and closed approximately $1 billion of new acquisitions, financings and development projects. Prior experiences include diverse roles in leasing, acquisition and financing resulting in transactional experience totaling over 15 million square feet across multiple asset types.

Recognized for his marketing savvy and entrepreneurial vision, Don Rasmusson sources and underwrites multi-family development opportunities and manages the development process for the CPG projects.

Don is a licensed realtor skilled in land acquisition, building leasing and urban development. Don has managed several of CPG’s major apartment projects and is currently responsible for site development of a newly launched 126-unit complex. Don’s expertise has benefited real estate enterprises like the Robert Douglas Group, Weichert Homes & Land and Cushman & Wakefield. He holds a BA in journalism from Fordham University.
